Press Play – Custom Playlist Curation Terms and Conditions (Audio or Video)
1. All Sales Are Final
All sales are final once your curated playlist has been delivered. Because our playlists are handcrafted by people—not generated by algorithms—refunds are not available after delivery. However, we do offer one round of edits (see #5) within 48 hours of delivery at no additional charge.
If your playlist has not yet been delivered and we have not received your intake form, you may request a full refund. Once your form is submitted, curation begins and all payments are non-refundable.
2. Payment Terms
Full payment is required at the time of purchase. We do not accept deposits or partial payments. Your playlist curation will begin only after your completed intake form is received.
3. Playlist Delivery Timeline
Once your form is submitted, your custom playlist will be delivered within 72 hours. The form link will be sent to the email address you provide during checkout. If you require faster turnaround, you may request a Rush Delivery option for an additional $49. Rush delivery timelines will be confirmed upon form submission.
For playlists longer than 6 hours, we will contact you directly to discuss custom timing and delivery options.
4. Delivery Method
Playlists are delivered via email to the address provided during intake. You will receive:
A streaming playlist link (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.)
Optional notes on transitions, flow, and energy shifts (as applicable)
5. Edits & Revisions
You may request changes within 48 hours of receiving your playlist. We allow one round of revisions covering up to 5 songs of the playlist for the first 3 hours purchased, and 2 songs for each additional hour purchased. Edits requested after the 48-hour window may incur additional charges.
If you need to update your intake form after submission, please contact us immediately using the same name and email used during purchase. We’ll do our best to accommodate updates, but late changes may delay delivery beyond the original 72-hour window.
6. Client Responsibilities
It is the Client’s responsibility to:
Complete and submit the intake form in a timely and accurate manner
Communicate any must-play or do-not-play preferences clearly
Check their email for delivery and respond within the edit window, if desired
Press Play is not responsible for dissatisfaction resulting from incomplete or unclear form responses.
7. Streaming Platform Disclaimer
Press Play is not liable for third-party platform issues (e.g., outages, restricted regions, account limitations). Please ensure you have access to the streaming service selected on your form.
8. Usage Rights
Your playlist is for personal or private event use only. It may not be resold, redistributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission. You retain lifetime access for personal listening or event reuse.
9. Cancellations & Refund Policy
Full refund available only if no intake form has been submitted.
No refunds after form submission or playlist delivery.

Press Play – Business Playlist Services: Terms & Conditions
By requesting a curated playlist from Press Play Curation, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
a. Curation Service Only
I provide a personalized playlist curation service using publicly available music and/or videos on platforms such as Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, or similar. I do not host, sell, or distribute the actual audio or video content.
b. No Transfer of Rights
This service does not include any licensing, resale, or transfer of public performance, broadcasting, or distribution rights for the music or video content included in the playlist.
c. Business Use Responsibility
If the playlist will be used in a business, public, or commercial setting—such as a physical location (e.g., store, studio, event), livestream, website, or social media—you are responsible for ensuring you have proper music licensing or public performance rights. This may require coverage from a licensing agency (e.g., ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, GMR), or a commercial-use platform (e.g., Soundtrack Your Brand, Mood Media, Cloud Cover Music).
d. Platform-Specific Use
Playlists will be delivered via your preferred platform (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.). Availability and playback are subject to the platform’s terms of use and regional restrictions. I do not control content removal, playback restrictions, or ads.
e. Privacy & Sharing
You may request the playlist to be Public, Unlisted, or Private (depending on the platform). Sharing, embedding, or using the playlist for marketing is permitted within the scope of the platform’s allowed uses and your applicable licensing.

For ongoing or monthly services, delivery timelines will be communicated in advance based on your selected plan.
4. Delivery Method
Playlists are delivered via email to the address provided at checkout or during intake. You’ll receive:
A link to your playlist on the streaming platform of your choice (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.)
A brief guide to the playlist’s structure, mood, and energy flow
Optional cue notes for businesses using the playlist during specific hours or customer experiences
5. Edits & Revisions
You may request one round of revisions within 48 hours of receiving your playlist, covering up to 20% of the total content. Edits after this window, or additional edit rounds, may incur extra fees.
For subscription clients, minor style adjustments can be requested with each new delivery.
6. Client Responsibilities
To ensure the best possible curation, the Client is responsible for:
Submitting a complete and accurate intake form
Clearly listing any genres, artists, or moods to prioritize or avoid
Ensuring the email provided is active and monitored
Confirming their streaming platform preference and account access
Press Play is not liable for dissatisfaction due to missing, vague, or inaccurate intake responses.
7. Streaming Platform Disclaimer
Press Play is not responsible for any issues related to third-party platforms, such as regional restrictions, account limitations, or downtime. Please ensure that you have access to the streaming platform you request on your form.
8. Usage Rights & Licensing
The curated playlist is provided for ambiance and customer experience within your business. It may not be resold, distributed, or used for public performance or broadcast without appropriate licensing.
It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure they comply with local music licensing regulations (e.g., ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, SOCAN). Press Play does not provide performance licenses.
9. Cancellations & Refund Policy
A full refund is available within 48 hours of purchase, provided that no intake form has been submitted.
Once your intake form has been received, playlist curation begins and all sales become final.
One round of edits (up to 20%) is included within the 48-hour post-delivery window.
Subscription clients may cancel future playlists by providing at least 7 days’ notice before the next scheduled delivery.
10. Ongoing Support & Adjustments
We want your playlist to work hard for your space. If you’re on a recurring plan and your vibe changes, just let us know. We'll evolve your playlists to fit your new goals—whether that’s more afternoon energy, lower-key weekend sounds, or anything in between.

Press Play DJ Services: Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all DJ services provided by Press Play ("Provider") to any individual or entity ("Client") who engages Press Play for DJ services. By booking services, the Client agrees to abide by the following terms:
1. Booking and Payment
A signed service agreement and a 50% non-refundable deposit are required to secure a booking.
The remaining 50% is due no later than 48 hours before the event.
Failure to pay the balance by the deadline may result in cancellation without refund of the deposit.
2. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event will receive a full refund of the deposit.
Cancellations within 30 days of the event forfeit the deposit.
Cancellations within 14 days of the event require payment of the full remaining balance.
If Press Play must cancel, all payments will be refunded, and a suitable replacement DJ will be offered if possible.
3. What’s Included with Your Booking
A professional bilingual DJ and MC (Spanish and English), skilled at reading the room and guiding energy flow
Curated setlists and custom music curation based on your preferences and event vision
Pre-event planning form to capture must-plays, do-not-plays, and genre/style preferences
Professional sound equipment, including wireless and battery-powered speakers when needed
Optional lighting packages (available upon request)
Free guest music request form to involve attendees in the planning process
4. Performance and Equipment
Press Play provides all required sound equipment for indoor or outdoor use, with wireless options available.
Optional lighting enhancements are available for an additional fee.
The Client is responsible for ensuring the venue has adequate power, space, and permissions for amplified sound.
Any damage to Press Play’s equipment caused by guests, staff, or venue personnel is the responsibility of the Client.
5. Music and Playlist Customization
All playlists are custom-built based on client input and guest submissions via our request form.
Clients may submit a “Do Not Play” list and highlight specific genres, songs, or artists they’d like included.
All music used is appropriate for the agreed-upon tone, audience, and event setting.
6. Guest Requests
Guests may make song requests before or during the event.
Final discretion over music played remains with the DJ, in accordance with the Client's preferences and the overall vibe of the event.
7. Setup, Teardown, and Overtime
Press Play requires access to the event space at least 90 minutes before the event for setup.
Teardown takes approximately 30 minutes post-event.
Additional time requested by the Client during the event is billed at $____ per 30 minutes, subject to availability.
8. Conduct and Safety
The Client agrees to provide a safe and respectful working environment.
Press Play reserves the right to cease performance if conditions become unsafe, inappropriate, or harassing. No refunds will be issued in these cases.
9. Inclement Weather (Outdoor Events)
For outdoor events, a weather contingency plan (e.g., covered tent) must be in place.
Press Play will not perform in dangerous conditions (e.g., rain, lightning, extreme temperatures).
10. Promotional Use
With the Client’s consent, Press Play may share video clips, photos, or excerpts from playlists for marketing purposes.
Clients may opt out of this provision at any time with written notice.
11. Liability and Insurance
Press Play is not responsible for any injury, loss, or property damage related to the event, except in cases of gross negligence.
The Client is encouraged to obtain general liability insurance for the event.
12. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond their control (e.g., extreme weather, pandemic, government orders).
In such cases, Press Play will offer to reschedule the event at no additional charge.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the state in which the event is held.
Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation or small claims court, as appropriate.
By booking services with Press Play, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
